I'm Regina. I am a skin cancer overcomer and passionate awareness advocate since 2017. I'm a mother to two boys, a musician/recovering addict and a future graphic designer and a step-mother to my beautiful

step-daughter and granddaughter.

I believe in the power of empowerment, in the joy and freedom of overcoming fear and the unknown. There is so much healing that comes from connection, in the ripple effect of sharing openly and vulnerably.

That’s what this space is for: sharing my story to inspire you to share yours.

I believe that you, dear reader, have a story to tell. And if you haven’t already, finding your voice starts today.

What you’ll encounter here: the knowledge needed for breakthrough, the resources to help make that happen, and the freedom to follow inspiration.

My goal is to create a community of empowerment, connection and healing. Whether it be my lip cancer, my son's addiction, losing our business or marital strains from all of the above,

one thing was always certain: the DECISION

to never give up.

I have chosen to share these intimate stories

with this community in hopes to let you know

that you are never as alone as you think and

to create a space I so desperately wish I

had while searching for support.

Navigating the world gets hard. How

do we move forward? Community and

connection are the answers.

Sometimes the hardest part is in the beginning -- in actually starting. With 25 years as a housewife and stay-at-home mom, and with only a high school degree, I questioned my intellectual abilities in doing something like this. How do I start this? Am I capable? Between website management and social media strategy and everything else it takes to launch a site and start a movement (not to mention finding the words to even tell my story), I felt the pushback.

But something kept calling me back to this idea, beckoning me to overcome whatever fears and lies had been holding me back for the past few years. I let go of whatever things were hindering me from moving forward -- from the excuses that kept telling me ‘no’ -- and just started.

In a world of filters and facades, it's hard to find something raw and real that we can connect to. Whether it be loss, disease, addiction, not belonging, etc. my hope is for you to discover the powerful realization that vulnerability isn't weakness. It’s the beginning towards healing, towards embracing the growth that comes from imperfections and hardship.

So for those currently in the trenches of hurdles and struggles, welcome. Your story belongs here.
